Hello Friends- Due to a move (husband's change of jobs) I have had to give up my comfortable position as school library/media specialist (who also taught computers) in Hampton. I will now be working as an instructional technologist (who also reads books) in northern VA. In this case, I'll be directly teaching technology to students in grades K-5 about a third of the time; the rest of the time I'll be working with teachers to encourage the integration of technology with the curriculum. In my old position, I had a repertoire of songs that I used regularly with the little ones (ie, author/illustrator song, fiction song, nonfiction song, songs about various genre.) Even though my new principal says I can throw in some of my favorite books, I'm thinking the old songs are out and I'd better develop a repertoire of technology songs. If any of you have any cute computer/technology songs that you could share, I would be very greatful and will gladly post a hit. Thank you!
