Good on you Bonnie - exactly what I thought too. I do hope Jeff's message doesn't
come back to bite
him.

When one of my teachers came for a video to keep the kids quiet last week (we
finished on Friday
16th) I just kept saying "It's against copyright law." I was ignored but I was
heard. I won't
refuse to lend something because I will not be the copyright police, but, at least
here, if someone
overrides your warning of a copyright breach, you don't get prosecuted if they do.
I'm sure most
staff members know my mantra by heart now, so I figure I've covered myself.

I noticed that others were avoiding having me prick their consciences by bringing
their own videos
in, thus circumventing the library, but at least they KNOW so it is their
responsibility which
standards they choose to set for the kids.

Merry Christmas
