I can see how administrators might think that a teacher using a personal laptop might be doing personal work on school time, but I'm not sure how this would present virus and liability concerns. I don't understand everything about wireless networking, though, by any means! Now I'M curious about this because the same situation could exist here in the public library. Any thoughts? If anyone else is interested, the primary reasons such a policy might exist are viruses and liability concerns. My district does not have a policy in place, and I was just curious.
