This would be a difficult one for me to answer. I know highs and lows but
not good and bad for each level. I have done every level except grades 4
and 5. I prefer high school because I enjoy getting into intellectual
discourse with the students and challenge their notions of the importance of
events in their life. I loved primary as I really love to tell stories.
Middle school students read and read and read and get excited about
everything.

Only you can answer the question for yourself. What age excites you? What
age will cause you to run into school every morning and get excited about
the new day? What age do you enjoy reading/viewing/listening for?

And what about the many issues that will surface with your students? What if
their morals are different than yours? Their sexual orientations? Their
religious (or lack of) beliefs?

Do you enjoy instant gratifications? Then elementary or middle school
(sometimes) is best. For high schoolers - it may take years before they
return to say "thank you."

What age makes you laugh?

Hope this helps and best of luck in your decision making process

Allan
