A plea to keep an open mind regarding computer games as more research is
coming out that seems to show they may have a place in teaching and
learning ... and are good motivators for the students.

The trick is to identify which games support which curriculum areas and
how they might be integrated.

There is also an important message for parents who are worried about
their children's addiction to computer games .... some families have
dealt with this simply by moving the computer from the privacy of the
bedroom to the public areas in the house (living room).

There is access to some games research papers at
http://www.shambles.net/games/ .... if you know of any other studies
then I'd appreciate knowing of them.

Thanks

Chris
