Last January our large district (87 schools) converted from Follett Unison to
Destiny. After a few adjustments, mostly related to our district server and the
change occurring mid-year, we have been very pleased with Destiny. I was involved
with the training of our media specialists and felt the transition was smooth. The
program is user friendly and allows for a wide variety of easily "assembled"
reports. Being able to toggle back and forth between circulation, catalogue, patron
maintenance etc. without having to open a different module or part of the program
is great.
Having a union catalogue has many advantages. Or district coordinator can run
reports, get stats, on individual school media centers if needed, without having
to wait for someone at that location to do it. Student lost book fines etc.
automatically follow them from school to school etc., we can search titles at any
district school which helps when we have ordering questions.
I love the program.

Subject: Target: Follett Destiny

The administration in my district is considering a change from Winnebago
Spectrum to the Follett Destiny circulation system. Does anyone out there use
Follett Destiny? How would you compare it to other circ. systems?

Thanks.
