It's funny I just saw this!  I am in need of a list of duties that is geared
towards elementary media specialists only!  I never get used to the idea
that we always are defending what we do to teachers who, these days, just
seem interested in the Library so they can enhance their planning times.  We
were forced back into a semi-scheduled program because the teachers never
signed up to bring their classes in for the programs we tried to provide,
AND so the Art, Music, PE, and Tech classes could have smaller classes.
They think we sit and read books all the time.  I've tried explaining that
we have all of the same duties we had last year when we were open, PLUS we
now have to plan for and teach 24 classes a week!!!

I will post a hit if I get a good list together!  Thanks in advance...
