Hi, all -- Our school district has a group of teachers going through a master's program from a local university. Right now, their class is in professional research, i.e., conducting action research and analyzing the results, etc. I've successfully helped several of them with their literature searches, but one teacher's topic has me stumped. I'm hoping you can help... Her action research has to do with testing students over smaller chunks of information -- such as, testing over chapter sections rather than just the whole chapter. She's working with a group of special ed students in American History. We're coming up dry on reliable, professional information on this topic. I've tried Ebsco's Professional Collection, ERIC, InfoTrac, First Search, Google and Yahoo. I've used the terms: "test intervals" "high school" "Social studies" "history" "test frequency" -- in various combinations. Any ideas? I'd really like to help this teacher out!
