I don't have the specific Life magazine requested but your post reminded me that I do have 6 issues from 1947 that I should do something with. I bought them at an auction when I was a social studies teacher and they have been in a box in my closet for about 10 years. What is the best way to preserve these treasures? One of the funniest items is a full-page ad on the back of the Sept 1, 1947 issue for Camel cigarettes which states, "According to a recent Nationwide survey: More Doctors Smoke Camels than any other cigarette." Suggestions?
