[LM_NET] Middle School Programming - I NEED HELP!

Hi-

I've been a school librarian for four years.  I split my time between a middle and 
a high school building.  When I started, I thought I would just be doing the same 
thing in both buildings....boy was I stupid!  I've come to the conclusion that I am 
much more adept at the high school level and that I am doing a crappy job at my 
middle school.

I'm writing the listserv because I need help with middle school ideas, programming, 
etc.  Outside of teaching library skills, what are some simple but successful 
things you've done at the middle school..book clubs, activities...I even need help 
with bulletin boards!  I team teach well with the staff, but I just don't think I'm 
reaching my kids in grades 6-8.
