Buckeye Hello, Everyone! I just finished reading Chris Crutcher's _The Sledding Hill_. I LOVED this book. This book addresses censorship in a very unique way. I won't spoil your reading of the book. I'd like you to enjoy the surprise punch that Crutcher delivers without any advance warning from me. I've resisted reading _The Lovely Bones_ because I am generally squeamish about books dealing with death and the afterlife. (Crutcher uses a dead character to communicate with a living one.) I long for books with happy endings, I guess. _The Sledding Hill_is real life with both happy and sad all mixed together like a Litmus Lozenge (smile). Crutcher will be at AASL's National Convention in Pittsburgh. If you have time to read only one book this summer, read this one. Ada G.
