Dear LM-Net,

I have been asked to produce a summer reading list especially for Middle
School students. In the past, when I was a librarian in Vermont, I would
create a list using a combination of books from several lists including ALA
Notable books, Dorothy Canfield Fisher Book List, and others classics that
many kids enjoy. I am now working at an international school in Tunisia. I
think that I need to improve upon what I used to do for a summer reading
list because the student body at my current school is very
multi-cultural. Do you have any suggestions for an internationally-minded
list for middle school? Thanks in advance! Also, I find LM-NET to be an
invaluable resource, thank you all for your wisdom.
