[LM_NET] TAR: How do you check out magazines?

I am wondering about the different ways LMS check out magazines. Some catalog them 
all and check out like a book, others use the primitive method of signing out a 
magazine on a sheet of paper, some use the card method just for magazines...I would 
like to know what any of you do and why. For example, if you catalog them, why do 
you feel this is best. If you use a different method, please describe it and why 
you like it. I am trying to find the best method for me. Thanks all.
