LM_NET Archive



I, too, tend to put individual items with others of the same subject
rather than keeping the whole series or set together. However, Library of
Congress does catalog sets together, as I learned in cataloging class. If
I remember correctly, they also include the single volume classification
number in case a library wants to use that instead of the series number.
So I believe both options are correct and you can choose the one that
works best for your library.
