Our private school (K-12) is in NY state. I am glad that our system has interlibrary loan between the private and public schools. I look at us as a team whose goal is to get all students to enjoy reading. Our local organization (RASL) pulls ideas from both sectors and we all collaborate together. Returning from the AASL convention in Pittsburgh, (which was great except for not being able to get into many sessions that I wanted), I again thought about how kind everyone is to share with each other whether they are from GA or Hawaii. We just need to realize that the school who owns the books may need them for a unit with their own teachers..and that's great. Let's just help all students succeed @ their libraries.
