I am not quite sure how I get myself into these situations, but without LM_NET I might never emerge successful! I agreed to give a presentation about travel to a group which includes some people who have traveled a great deal more than I, as well as some people who are much less travelled. I am hoping for help as follows: 1. Can you share any great travel tips? 2. Any no-nos? 3. I said if people would tell me where they were going, I would try to provide good reading about that place for them. Does anyone have suggestions for someone visiting Spain? Ireland? Colorado? Belize? New England in leaf time? I am looking for interesting fiction or non-fiction, but not really travel guides. 4. How about books about traveling in general (but not travel guides per se)--I am fishing here, I know.
