Hello! I had a very successful interview for a job in a rural HS library yesterday. The superintendent specifically mentioned highlighting career development in the library. He wants to find ways to show all students that library skills will have real life applications. I immediately envisioned a display featuring a person in a particular career and showing what they are finding in the library that is relevant. I could change it out frequently; doctor, fire fighter, farmer, carpenter. I can sit and noodle through various careers, but I am pressed for time---I need a presentation that will WOW! him ASAP Can anyone recommend a source that might specifically itemize careers and related library resources?
