Well it's time for me to jump it. When I teach slms about collection
development, cataloging,and library services, I emphasize that an idea that
may be good at the time or for some reason may seem appropriate at the time,
but may not be the same in the years to come.
Haven't you thought that the idea of AR stickers was to mark the books so
that you couldn't remove them with ease, thus making it harder to switch
programs, or quit a program?
Always remember that as a slms your time is a short time compared to the
time those books and libraries will be around. Please don't leave work for
others to undo should the situation arise.
All the best for the 2006/07 school year...and many thanks for all ya'll
have done for the Katrina recovery efforts.
