With time to spare during the holiday, please consider downloading the 18 page Extreme Makeover - Home edition application found at http://abc.go.com/primetime/xtremehome/casting.html The family in my community who are under consideration are the retired army drill sgt. Gene and Peggy Westbrook. He was injured in April of 2004 in Iraq and is a triplegic. However, on June 10 of 2006, he and his family were involved in a serious automobile accident in which his wife, and two children were injured. His daughter Kate lost a kidney, and his son James 9 years old - was rendered a paraplegic. Their home, bathroom facilities, and furniture need to be redone in order to provide for two wheelchairs. Their video and story have been submitted to Extreme Makeover and with community support by mailing in more requests for this military family, the scales could be tipped in their favor. As our newspaper said today, "They (Extreme Makeover) definitely want to do an Oklahoma project, and we think there is no project more deserving than the Westbrook one, nor a more extreme story." Because their name and video have already been submitted - I am only submitting the info that I know. There are numerous questions asked on this application that I am going to leave blank.
