Similar to Ellen, I'd like to TARGET activities for HS that would have students
search for answers to questions using a variety of sources. Perhaps small groups or
teams assigned to using print, database, and WWW sources, and compare results and
search times. I'd also like to include comparing authenticity, verifiability, and
whether teachers accept the source and what their reasons might be.

I'm interested in the same type of activity as Ellen, but aimed at HS teachers
and students. I have an uphill battle encouraging students to use more than a
couple of resources, and particularly to break out of one specific media... IMHO,
at least at times, both teachers and students are guilty of focusing too heavily on
one particular medium and lose out. Variations could include an activity for a
workshop after school for teachers, a freshmen orientation tool or a refresher for
the upper grades.

  I will post a HIT.
