Fact is, many of us are in schools where we see full classes all day without an
assistant, not to mention limited budgets which restrict the number of library
focused periodicals we can subscribe to (they are not the cheapest of
publications). I am always happy to stumble across a brief review from a colleague
within my email which I am usually checking at home. Keep them coming!

Absolutely! GraceAnne is right, I'm a media specialist and review for both
SLJ and Library Media Connection. I think that you'll find that there are
reviewers you'll agree with and those you won't, once you begin reading one
or more of these resources regularly, you'll begin to recognize the names
of the reviewers (and also see which schools/libraries they are from). I
always make sure to note if books are curriculum-connected, storytime
appropriate or best left to large public collections.
