[LM_NET] TARGET: 1284.4 Compatible Printer standby problem

Hi,

 

I hope someone out there has figured out the solution to this problem.

 

I installed the Microsoft document image writer and now I get

following message when I want to go into Standby; "The

device Driver for the "1284.4 Compatible Printer" device

is preventing the machine from entering standby. Please

close all applications and try again. If problem persists

you may need to update driver"

 

I'm using Microsoft 2003 on a Windows 2000 system.  All the downloads for
this driver refer to XP systems so I'm a little hesitant to download them
since I'm on Windows 2000.

 

Has this happened to anyone?  Please contact me off list.
