Hi!
This is my second year as a Media Specialist, there are two of us and
I've taken on the task of what to do with our dusty microfilm
machine. We have Newsbank slides also. I've never seen the machine
used in the 4 years prior that I've been an assistant. I'm adding a
Reference Help Room for quick ask-a-librarian research questions and
to work quietly with guidance. My thoughts were to keep it and devise
a lesson for students to learn to use the machine. I know at several
local Universities they use microfiche. I thought it'd be a good idea
for college prep research. Do I keep it or sell it in your opinion?
Is it a treasure or a dinosaur? Does anybody want one? Any advice
would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
