There isn't just one number for slavery Depending on the emphasis of the book, in various places: Slave trade in regards to commerce is 380.1 Slavery as an economic institution is 306.3 The ethics of slavery is 177 Laws regarding slavery in 342 A survey of slavery in regards to political science is 326 Biographies of slaves / abolitionists could be in 921 (92 or B) History of the US time periods that include slavery could be in 973.-- This is all according the the DDC, abridged, 13th ed.
