I get a lot of spam e-mail from ebay and paypal. I forward the e-
mails to <spoof@ebay,com> or <spoof@paypal.com>. They send in a-mail
reply stating if the e-mail was in fact from them. I haven't had one
yet. They have all been fraudulent. I have the peace of mind to
know that they have been reported as spam.

E-bay recently sent me an e-mail with some advice. If you forward
the e-mail to <abuse@[Internet Service Provider> the e-mail will be
reported directly to the internet service provider. I've only had
one e-mail returned undeliverable. I copy the senders address and
change the name of the sender to "abuse."

Examples:

abuse@earthlink.net
abuse@aol.com
abuse@yahoo.com

This has been time-consuming, but I'm tired of getting these e-
mails. I have a feature on my Mac the is supposed to allow me to
bounce the e-mail back to the sender, but I always get
"undeliverable" messages.
