I'm researching some of the trends and issues in librarianship, and wondered what the concensus might be among practicing librarians as to what they believe are the trends or issues facing today's librarians / libraries? How do these trends affect how librarians serve students / teachers? What do you see as a trend in your library---is it technology? is it keeping your job? is it outsourcing your collection? is it just trying to keep up with what your job really means to others? I'd love to hear what you think the trends might be. I'll post a HIT if others are interested.
