[LM_NET] TARGET: Historical films

Well, here's a new challenge for the collective genius.  I have a United
States history teacher who would like a list of movies that deal with
particular historical times/movements.  She will not be showing these in
class, but will be listing them as one choice for a project.  (Students
watch and write analysis) Therefore, the rating of the movies is not an
issue  (She'll be sending a note home with parents)  So, anyway, here are
the topics:  westward expansion, immigration at turn of the century,
industrialization, progressivism, WWI, Imperialism, and the Roaring 20's.
The first four topics are the most pressing concern at this point.  As
always, thank you for any ideas you might have.  I'll post a hit if there is
interest.
