My original post: A teacher has asked me to try to find a web site she remembers using in the past. The web site allows students to design their own Rube Goldberg-like machine online. She says the name Rube Goldberg was used in the site. I have searched around and couldn't find anything that allowed for interactive online design. Please email me directly if you know of a site like this. Many thanks. I never found the site my teacher was thinking of but got some other possibilities. One of the teachers in my school discovered the first site which allows students to build contraptions online. Thanks to Vicki Reutter and Rebecca Bertacchi for the other suggestions. http://fossweb.com/modules3-6/LeversandPulleys/index.html www.prek-12engineering.org/data/d32/RubeGoldberg.pdf A Rube Goldberg-esq interactive game called Clack: http://fizzlebot.com/gdc1/cgdc1.php?puzzleID=15 also try using "Mouse Trap" game in your search term. --Jackie Jackie Richardson Library Media Specialist Main Street School Irvington, NY 10533 914.269.5229 jacqueline.richardson@irvingtonschools.org -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
