One of my second grades wants to do a weather project for the yearly district
science fair. They are curious as to which service is the most accurate predictor
of weather - the local TV weather person, the newspaper, or an on-line site. They
would like some schools in other countries - and other parts of the US (we are in
Connecticut) to track the sources and actual weather for a two week period. If you
know of a teacher who might be interested please have him or her email me at
jean.lowery@gmail.com . We need to do this before the winter break so we are
looking at the first two weeks in November as our time frame. We will share the
results so that the other schools may use them for their science projects if they
wish to do so. Thank you - Jean Lowery
