Original Query:

Does anyone know if there is anywhere you can go to check what the
weather was on the date you were born? A teacher at my school is asking
...

Thanks to all who responded. I checked out each response...I don't
think they kept too many records before the 1970's because that's all
the data I could find. I was also asked to post a hit from several
people and here it is:

Try this:
http://www.almanac.com/weatherhistory/locations/FL.php

To change to other states, just change the state abbreviation,
leaving the .php at the end of the URL

If you try to go into the site from the front end, the Farmer's Almanac
home page, it requires that you register. However, you can work around
it by going straight to the above URL.

<http://www.crh.noaa.gov/iwx/program_areas/wxhisttdy/calendar.php>

This might help.

This only works for the years 1970 through the present.

Go to Weather Underground: http://www.weatherunderground.com/
<http://www.weatherunderground.com/>

Type in the zipcode that you want the weather from.

Once that page has loaded, scroll down to the box labeled:

History/Almanac

Select the date you want and hit enter.

Voila! Weather statistics for that place on that date!

I typed in 'weather, April 11, 1965' on google, and got a bunch of
different weather things. I guess it would depend on what part of the
country you want the weather from, as weather various from place to
place.
