LM_NET Archive



This is the best reason I've seen yet!  I still stamp page 89, because that 
was the page that was used in my hometown public library when I was a page 
there in high school over 40 years ago.  It was just habit to use it, I 
suppose.  However, now that I think about it, it is indeed true that only 
the books purchased during my time as librarian here -- 27 years now -- will 
be stamped on that page.  It really is a good way of immediately telling if 
you or a predecessor purchased that book.  So I guess I'll continue the 
practice and use it as my signature, too!
