First of all: I haven't had a chance to post a hit from my last target yet (Revolutionary War websites)..I have a problem with my computer and can't get to my old emails..I promise to post as soon as I can..everyone's responses were extremely helpful! Now, for the new TARGET: My principal would like me to gather some activities for students who are unable to attend their Phys. Ed. and Technology Education classes b/c of injury, etc. (tech classes are in basement with no elevator) and are "stuck" in the library. He would like me to focus of course on student-centered activities that hopefully involve technology, for example the student watches a five-minute video clip online and then writes an essay (answers questions, etc.). I'm also thinking webquests would be good. The teachers will be using the resources I gather to build lessons and activities for the students (ex, maybe they will read an article from one website about building bridges, then write a response based on a writing prompt.) so at this point I am mainly looking for websites with webquests or information that students could read/watch relating to these two subject areas. I will be connecting these activities with the regular curriculum, which includes bridge building & creating a board game (Technology) and the usual Phys. Ed. topics (including specific sports, etc.) Please respond to my email address rather than the list and I will post a hit. Please let me know if it's ok to use your name in the hit. Thanks so much in advance!
