My family went to Virginia Beach this weekend, and everywhere we looked there were
folks of all ages laying in the sun reading about Harry. We don't get to the beach
often so I resisted the temptation, besides...I didn't want sand between the pages.

I was in the local WalMart at midnight on Friday night for the book
release. The line was only about 20-25 people. A former student in his
30's now and an English teacher at a middle school walked by with his
Harry Potter book and said, "It's like Christmas, isn't it." He gave
me a big hug and walked on.
Can you think of another series with a publication as widely
anticipated? I can't.
