Dear Everyone, After reading the discussion of the future of Dewey, I haver thought of another disadvantage to the Arizona library discarding Dewey or anything involving creating tags, electronic or not--time and energy. I have no desire to have to think about my library's organization etc. I buy my books processed and I put them on the shelves. Of course I can change call numbers or catalog books that I acquire without cataloging, but It doesn't demand much thought. Dewey works and I can spend my time thinking about ways to support the student learning in our high school. I think it's a better use of my time and a lot more fun for me. (Cataloging is not my cup of tea.)
