I have a senior who is doing research on the history of Nursery Rhymes (London Bridge is falling down; Ring Around the Rosie, etc.) I mentioned this to the class when we were discussing databases, research projects, and ideas....now this student has taken extreme interest in the topic, so I need to help her find some print titles to supplement her electronic research. Does anyone know of any print titles that provide the history of Nursery Rhymes---I have found some websites to review, but if you know of others that might be useful, we would definitely appreciate the information! She is just starting this research, so we have some time, but it's fun to watch a senior get excited about a research paper...so I'm pulling together some materials for her to consider while she spends the weekend (her statement) browsing the public library for research materials, as well as children's nursery rhymes to consider using for the paper. Thanks for helping! ~Shonda -- Shonda Brisco, MLIS District Librarian Peaster ISD Weatherford, TX 76086 Digital Bookends wiki / blog: http://digitalbookends.pbwiki.com http://shonda.edublogs.org/ sbrisco@gmail.com Resources for Texas School Librarians: http://txschoollibrarians.ning.com/ http://txschoollibrarians.wikispaces.com/ "Digital Resources" columnist School Library Journal -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
