I am in my first year and have found that there is a paucity of Native American folklore in our collection. Besides the fact that this is an area we should have the 3rd grade now is doing a unit which includes Plains and Northwest Native Americans and wants folklore. So, I'm looking for the very best Native American folklore to beef up overall and looking for 3rd grade appropriate (both for read aloud and independent reading) folklore of the Plain and Northwest Native Americans. If I get several responses I will be happy to compile a HIT.
