We classify them as we would if they were not in graphic format, but I
cut off the "Novel" portion of the "Graphic Novel" sticker and place it
on the spine.
My Library Media Teachers are still undecided whether to group them with the
novels or shelve them by Dewey.

The biographies definitely go with the other biographies. So far, only my two
middle schools have graphic non-fiction, and both LMTs are shelving the
non-biographical non-fiction together with the graphic novels.

In one school, fiction is grouped by genre anyway, so the graphic non-fiction
goes in the "graphic" section.

In the other school, we have a new prefix "GN" which we use similarly to "REF"
in that the rest of the spine label is standard classification, but all the
"GN" books get shelved together.
