Anyone doing something special for TV-Turnoff Week (April 21-27)? I'm disappointed at the lack of information on the website this year, www.tvturnoff.org (which forwards to screentime.org). There's another site, www.turnoffyourtv.com but it doesn't give me many ideas to promote the week at my school. Last year I created a chart and had kids keep track of their screentime vs. active &/or reading time. We gave a certificate to everyone who spent less time with a screen than they did living life in more active ways. I don't want a repeat of last year, but need some fresh ideas that won't require lots of planning. -- Gail Brubaker, Librarian srvca.library@comcast.net San Ramon Valley Christian Academy Danville, CA - www.srvca.org -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
