I have a few adults in school that understand
everything I do (behind the scenes), but the best
compliment I received was from members of my student
news crew.
As I have morning duty with the Kg classes in the
media center, I try to do a lot of small jobs at the
front desk. One morning my 5th graders watched me
check in the books from the day before, process a
stack of books with call letters labels, cover them
with mylar and label covers, answer the telephone, and
weed/delete a box of books from the week before.
One of them remarked, "You really do a lot of work. I
think I'd like to be a librarian."

Just made me feel good.
