Hi, I'm in need of some suggestions about how to start a middle school bookclub. I put out an e-mail to the AR teachers saying that I would like to meet with students once a week during AR to discuss books but I'm thinking I may need some type of application or statement of requirements. I want the kids to realize this is a commitment and not just an excuse to leave class. The teachers are in favor but would like to know how I plan to choose who will participate.
