Does anyone have remedies for books that are returned reeking of cigarette smoke? Usually we hang it out the window for a week or so, but that is not always feasible. This is a chronic problem with a particular student. We've tried having him bring it home in a bag, but if he leaves it out at home for two or three weeks, the bag isn't doing much good. Can not and will not discourage this child from taking out books -- it's not his fault. But would like some advice. thanks!
