After speaking with 2 USA high school students who were well into the series I decided to buy the series for Aussie library. At the IASL conference several people were very excited about last book. When I got back to school today, the first 3 had arrived and were already on shelves. First already borrowed by 2 people and a reserve made today. Also, it seems that the series is on the Victorian Premiers List, which is a scheme to get students to read. Premier (like US govenor) gives students a certificate if they read a certain # of books.
