I was going to stay out of this until.... a teacher called me to hook up a printer
since her computer was updated over the weekend and not quite right. As we are
going through it, the printer she wanted was already there. She never actually
tried to print!
I also feel the pain.
I sometimes wonder who turns on their tvs at home. I get calls becaues they can't
remember what button to push on their remote or what channel they need to play
their vcr.
I Try to be patient and helpful but sometimes it is so hard.

Oh how I wish it was true that it is just because you are a man. I have the same
issues at my school. Even though my name is not Marge. I am plagued with geek
squad questions even about home computers. I sometimes wear a dress so I don't
have to climb the ladder but I have crawled under many a desk, fighting the dust in
my flowery dress. (Quite a site when you consider my age and size!) Sorry to
disappoint you but it seems to be the nature of our job. By the way, my secretary
time has plummeted from full time to none in the eight years I have been here and I
took the job so I could do the live TV broadcast.
