I, too, have gotten frantic calls at home from someone who is trying to 
hook something up, the company is on the way, and things aren't going well.

My wife, though, had the best one of all.

Many years ago she had the job title of Director of Student Health 
Services at a residential and community high school. As such, she was on 
call 24/7 whenever a student had a medical issue. One night (actually 
very early in the morning) the phone rang. It was one of the dorm 
supervisors who had punched a concrete block wall and wanted her to take 
him to the ER. She told him that her job title was Director of STUDENT 
Health Services, and he could take himself to the ER.

We laugh about it now, but at the time it wasn't all that funny.
