Good morning! Our district's Director of Curriculum has proposed implementing Virtual High School, and scheduling it through the Library Media Center. For any of you who are using that or a similar online course setup in your library, how is it scheduled? Does it impact you greatly in the delivery of other LMC services? Are you compensated additionally for being the site coordinator? Are there any other issues/concerns that you've had that you think someone just starting should be aware of? For anyone using Virtual High School specifically, what are your experiences in working with them? We think this could be a great opportunity for our students, but want to consider all possibilities carefully in putting in this program. Thanks in advance for your help!
