I've been involved in a district technology curriculum project this summer. With only 2 days to work, we only scratched the surface. I would LOVE to benefit from your expertise. I am the only librarian on the committee - so I had no one to collaborate with. You folks are my team. I depend on you to help me out. So far, I only have a list of skills for 9-12. We will be working on k-8 eventually. Right now - I am just looking for some help for what INFORMATION tech skills should be included. The final product will not be a library curriculum - it will be a technology curriculum with information skills infused. I tried to pull things out of the AASL standards etc. But I know I have overlooked things. Many thanks for your help. You can either post your suggestions to my blog directly - or you can email me with your suggestions. I will compile the emailed suggestions and enter them as anonymous blog comments - just to keep things together and create an ongoing "hit" for anyone who might be interested. http://wanderings.edublogs.org/2008/07/26/what-technology-skills-should-be-in-a-library-curriculum/ As always - thanks for being there for me.
