LM_NET Archive



We are planning a 2 day, real-world, critical thinking, team-building type project 
for our school. The challenge is to design a School of the 21st Century - a school 
that teaches 21st century learning skills.  We are not looking for architectural 
ideas, since our school is only 5 years old.  The ultimate goal is to come up with 
innovative teaching methods and tools and to make some of the ideas a reality right 
here in this building.  This would be a 2 year+ plan.  The vision would be created 
this year.  Next year the teams would work on writing grants and/or requesting 
district budget support to make the best ideas become a reality. 
 
I am looking for links that would help us out - especially examples of 
non-traditional schools that feature a lot of "hands on" learning.  I would LOVE to 
find some videos for the kids to watch, as well as web site links.  Anything you 
could suggest would be gratefully accepted.
