Hello, wonderful people.

Especially if you are in a middle school, how do you kindly, sweetly,
persuasively, effectively communicate with teachers that showing up at
7:40 on Monday morning to "do" research "about Europe" (or about trees
or about weather) with all their classes, with no planning, no
research questions, no advance warning is just not the way to do it
????

I have offered my services, stuffed mailboxes, attended meetings, put
info in written bulletin and daily announcements. I have asked for
copies of assignments so that I can help students when they come down
independently (Didn't get 'em.)

I am feeling very frustrated and worried that I just turned a teacher away.
