One further question on this issue.  Since the paperback has a different publisher 
(Scholastic) from the original, do you indicate the difference in publishers in any 
way?

HIT: Most folks who responded said they just add the additional Scholastic
ISBN to a record if they already have the material in their collection.

If it was a new title, they add both ISBN's.


Original Post: Here's a cataloging question for you catalogers out there:

I have a scholastic paperback.  The back cover has an ISBN that is different
than the one on the verso.  The back cover ISBN is the Scholastic edition, I
would assume.  The ISBN on the verso is the original publisher of the book.
When I catalog, what ISBN do I enter into the MARC?  Both or just the
Scholastic edition because that is the book in front of me?
