[LM_NET] reference guides

Hi, everybody. Does anybody have any guides to using almanacs, encyclopediae, and 
atlases they would be willing to share?
 
I want to put together a basic guide to reference sources, explaining when to use 
each source and what specific types of assignments or questions each would be 
appropriate for.
